Icecream and Icey Injuries

Two things tonight. One - Ice Cream after a snowstorm is great...and it was hilarious seeing a big line at an ice cream stand that opened up this weekend after our big snow storm. Jared and I enjoyed some icecream out in my driveway.

Afterwards, I learned this week's lesson. Do not try belly sliding down an icey hill in your yard. It can only lead to bad things. There was about a foot of snow with a quarter to half inch layer of ice on the top... well, halfway through sliding down the hill, I broke the ice layer, which proceeded to jab me in my stomach and cut me up pretty good. Only click this link if you are prepared to see blood & beer gut. It hurt pretty bad and I am sure I will be sore and uncomfortable while sitting for the first half of the week...

Level 6 Mohawk

It's been 2-3 months since wearing a mohawk, but I did this week... and I declare it to have leveled up.

As Matt puts it:
[23:55] Matt: mohawks deal 1d10 + Level/2 damage
[23:56] Matt: So a single mohawk attack now instantly kills a low level wizard
[23:56] Matt: nicely done

another pic

The quest for Pace Enchilada Sauce - in a jar!

My awesome girlfriend and her family LOVE Pace Enchilada Sauce, because it's the only one in a jar (instead of a can). Now, I'm not sure if they make it both ways or not when we're talking real bulk, but I am searching for it. If anyone out there on the great internet knows where I can find some...preferably without buying 3 cases of it at once, I would be greatly indebted to them! All I can offer is my thanks and of course payment for said enchilada sauce.

Skipping Stones on a Frozen Pond

Yesterday as my coworkers and I left the office to go to a work party for some quality BBQ action, we noticed the large pond adjecent our office complex was frozen over. I decided for the hell of it to try skipping a stone on it. Not only did the ice not break, but it made the awesomest sound I've ever heard with each hit. It was like a hollow chirp and I'm not sure if it's the water below or building echo or a combination of the two...but it was hella fun. We skipped stones for a good 5 or 10 minutes on our frozen pond before leaving.
